What is Percocet?

Percocet contains a combination of acetaminophen and oxycodone. Oxycodone is an opioid pain medication. An opioid is sometimes called a narcotic. Acetaminophen is a less potent pain reliever that increases the effects of oxycodone.

Percocet is used to relieve moderate to severe pain.

Important information

Percocet 10/325 Mg IP204 should not be used if you have recently used alcohol, tranquilizers, tranquilizers or other narcotic drugs.

These medications can slow or slow breathing and cause seizures. To avoid a lethal dose, take only the dose and swallow the tablet whole. Do not share Percocet 10/325 Mg IP204 with others.

MISUSE OF THIS MEDICINE CAN CAUSE ADDICTION, OVERDOSE, OR DEATH, especially in a child or other person using the medicine without a prescription.

Do not take more Percocet 10/325 Mg IP204 than recommended. Overdosing on acetaminophen can cause liver damage or death. Call your doctor right away if you have nausea, epigastric pain, itching, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stool, or jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes). Oxycodone can cause life-threatening withdrawal symptoms in newborns if the mother takes this medication during pregnancy. Overdosing on acetaminophen can cause liver damage or death. Call your doctor right away if you have nausea, epigastric pain, itching, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stool, or jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes). If your skin becomes red or the rash spreads, causing blisters and peeling, stop taking this medication and call your doctor right away. Taking this medication with alcohol or other drugs that make you drowsy or slow your breathing can cause fatal side effects.

Before taking Percocet 10/325 Mg IP204

You should not use Percocet 10/325 Mg IP204 if you are allergic to acetaminophen (Tylenol) or oxycodone, or if:

  • If you have asthma or shortness of breath;
  • If you have a blockage in your stomach or intestines, including muscle paralysis.

Some medications can interact with oxycodone, causing a serious condition called serotonin syndrome. Make sure your doctor knows if you are taking medications to prevent depression, mental illness, Parkinson’s disease, migraines, severe pain, or nausea and vomiting. Talk to your doctor before making any changes or while taking your medication.

To make sure Percocet is safe for you, tell your doctor if you:

  • Any breathing problems or lung disease;
  • Liver disease, cirrhosis, or drinking every day; Problems with the pancreas, thyroid or adrenal gland;
  • History of head trauma, brain tumor or epilepsy; or
  • If you use sedatives such as diazepam (diazepam, alprazolam, lorazepam, Ativan, Klonopin, Restoril, Tranxene, Versed, Xanax, and others).

Percocet USA is more likely to cause breathing problems in the elderly and people who are seriously ill, malnourished, or otherwise weakened.

If you use oxycodone during pregnancy, your baby may react to this medicine. This condition can be life-threatening after the baby is born. Children born addicted to drugs may need several weeks of treatment. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.

Acetaminophen and oxycodone can pass into breast milk and may harm a nursing baby. Breastfeeding should not be done while using this medicine.
